The ISS is aging, and a new generation of habitable space habitats are needed for continued technology development and research, vital elements of the latest space transportation architectures, and various commercial uses.
Vivace is proud to be one of the few companies capable of designing and building human-rated spaceflight structures such as those needed for present and future space station applications. Human-rated components require the strictest development process discipline in order to ensure 100% mission success where human life is at stake.
Vivace is proud to be a top-tier supplier on multiple private space station development programs. Vivace is providing smaller items such as key components for the environmental control and life support systems, high pressure tanks for propulsions systems, and has the capability to design and build large primary structures like the habitable pressurized hulls space station modules as large as 7 meters (23 feet) in diameter.

Habitable Pressurized Modules
- Vivace has extensive experience in systems engineering, requirements analysis, verification, and certification of human rated orbital modules. Paired with Vivace’s manufacturing capabilities, maximum value is delivered to customers in terms of cost and schedule.
- Once requirements are developed, Vivace can design, analyze, build, test, and deliver primary structures up to 7 meters (23 feet) in diameter. Vivace has successfully built and tested aluminum pressure vessels for spaceflight up to 5.5 meters (18 feet) in diameter.
- Vivace has developed innovative and proven approaches to the design and fabrication of space station modules that radically reduces lead time and cost while preserving reliable performance to rigorous human spaceflight requirements.
Pressurant Tanks
- Vivace provides Composite Overwrapped high performance propellant tanks for several different critical functions on habitable modules, including propulsion subsystem components and high-pressure tanks (including those containing hazardous gasses such as oxygen) for environmental control and life support systems.
